Elizabeth Clark, known artistically as Elle Sheridan, is a painter and illustrator based in Raleigh, NC. Her work is most inspired by the vibrancy and organic flow of nature. She is best known for her ongoing Billow Boards series, which explores three-dimensional looped paper forms and the interplay of pattern, movement, and structure.

Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, Sheridan’s creative foundation is rooted in the textile industry. She serves as Creative Director of her family’s mill, Pure Country Weavers, leading branding, photoshoots, and product launches. Growing up immersed in textiles informs her sensitivity to pattern, repetition, and harmony within her own work.

Sheridan’s work has been recognized through several honors, including Best in Show at the Fine Arts Center’s 2019 Juried Student Exhibition, judged by Elizabeth Shanks, and second place in sculpture at the 2018 Converse College Young Women and Art competition. She also received two Gold Keys and three Silver Keys from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in 2019. She continues to sustain an independent artistic practice through the sale of prints, paintings, and commissions.
